Your role

You have a crucial role in our Digital Operations Team.
  • You are supervising the performance of our machines at national and international customers from your digital cockpit. In case of errors, you execute cloud based interventions where possible or instruct the local service team on required on-site checks. Consider yourself from this point of view as the Master of Puppets pursuing operational excellence and continuous uptime of our national and international machine base behind your central screen.
  • You directly steer the Belgian or international service team and align with them on a service schedule based on your digital insights.
  • During installation and / or service intervention, you give central support to the technicians who are requiring live digital assistance and better understanding of machine performance and/or behavior.
  • You proactively communicate with or give feedback to the local contact person on the client side in case of technical errors and inform them on planned / required actions.
  • You report both to our Customer Success Lead as well as to our Software Lead

Your profile

Your profile ideally matches following skill set :
  • You have a technical profile who has a combined interest in hardware mechanics and PLC logics. You are having or are willing to build up PLC knowledge and have a certain affinity with the Beckhoff tools (Twincat 3).
  • You have good communication skills and are able to share a summarized and simplified issue analysis with a local service technician.
  • You love to do bug fixing and are able to transform issues into solution oriented actions.
  • You can apply concepts of MQTT, SQL, IOT platforms to form the link between PLC variables and cloud monitoring/dashboarding.
  • You are not afraid to get your hands dirty (you may need to pick up a screwdriver once in a while!)
