Account Manager

Alberts is an innovative FoodTech startup based in Wijnegem (Antwerp), founded in August 2015 by 3 young entrepreneurs. Three years later, our team has grown to 10 highly-motivated employees. Our mission? Making personalized health accessible and affordable through technology. That’s why we made the first smoothie vending machine in the world. In the last year, we have placed the first 10 machines on the Belgian market and many more leads are streaming every day! The time is now, we need you. Interested to join our adventure? Alberts searches an Account Manager who wants to step forward as the commercial representative for our innovative concept. You will be our spokesman out there in the commercial field. You will be responsible for identifying new business partners and for offering a supportive and listening ear for our existing clients. Your role is to build and maintain a network of trustful, happy and loyal partners. Out of this commercial key position, you will represent the company towards the outer world, embodying our healthy vision!

Alberts is looking for that Top Banana Profile who proves to master following commercial competencies:

  • Communication – This is no job for a shrinking violet: conducting phone calls (cold and warm), approaching anyone from assistants to decision makers, and presenting your case to large groups are common activities in your daily schedule. We expect from you to identify the needs of our partners by asking pertinent questions and listening attentively to their requirements thereby aiming to continuously offer the optimal healthy solution to their unique environment.
  • Negotiation – You are a dynamic facilitator, problem solver and above all able to understand what is driving different stakeholders within different situational environments. And… how to convince and attract them!
  • Time Management – You’ll be in and out of meetings, catching up with clients and hitting ever-changing short-term deadlines. You better make sure your schedule is constantly up to date 🙂 .
  • > 5 years of experience – You are able to act as cool as a cucumber in stressful situations and to take up a leading role in collaborations with our different partners.

Experience in a commercial role in the food industry and B2B environments is a big plus! Ambitions and/or experience in international environments is definitely an advantage.
